  • Q Hi. Do these devices have a default fail state . For example, without programming or controlling them, what state do they default to. Closed circuit or open circuit? I would like to know hat happens if the device has the lights off and the wifi fails. Will the device go back to a default closed circuit so that you can control the lights manually?

    If you know basic electrical wiring it's pretty simple to just wire it in after the manual switch. I decided to wire them in sequence so I can still manually control the dimmer and have the sonoff switch turn off the light even with the manual switch turned on.

    Fairly easy setup and couldn't be simpler to add the power cord input and output. Just ensure to distinguish between the neutral and line wires when inserting.
