I got this for my MacBook Pro.It's not an original Apple item, but works just as well for much less money. I'm mostly using this to connect to a large TV to watch movies. It's connected without issues every time. It's also very good at letting me charge my MacBook at the same time as using it, which I couldn't do before buying this gadget.

What a great little product! Used this for my 2016 Macbook Pro and this has everything I need as a dock and way cheaper then other brands! The finish is great very similar to apple's silver and will scratch just the same so if that matters to you then you'll need to find something that is not a metal case.

I received this hub quickly and wrapped in bubble wrap for optimal protection when sending. The dimensions of the hub are: 8.7 cm long by 5.8 wide and 1.8 high The design of the hub is irreproachable, very elegant. It has 3 USB-A ports, a USB-C port, a microSD card reader, an SD card reader and an HDMI port. It is a product with a good quality / price ratio.

I love this nifty little gadget and so pleased with my purchase as I can now plug all my different items into the sockets to use instead of having all individual ones. It looks so much more compact now. I have found that it works really well for me and even transfer speeds are quite good. I love the fact that they provide a little bag to place the hub into. I can now transport it along with my laptop instead of having to drag along all individual items. The only downside is the small attached cable as it makes it a little difficult to pack into the bag, but this is a minor thing as at least I can not lose it.

Dodocool signs an aesthetically very successful product with a design that is reminiscent of the apple brand. This is not a simple USB hub, but a real docking station: thus, by connecting the usb type C, we have: - HDMI video output - 1 USB C to charge a smartphone for example - 3 USB ports 3 - a multifunction card reader (SD / TF) It is therefore a very practical and functional product. Only downside: the cable length between the 2 connectors is 9 cm, which prevents it from touching the desktop while it is plugged into an all in one and that the USB port C is not very high .. . However, this choice is optimal for use with a laptop, since the port will be close to the docking station.

I bought this for my Lenovo Yoga 720, which lacks many of the ports I need (it has no SD of HDMI slots, and it doesn't have enough USB slots - especially considering one of the two is occupied by my pen holder). This adapter has all of the ports I need, all in one, *and I bought it for less than half of the price of most of these types of adapters at the time. I have tried out the ports, and all of them work just fine and dandy. There didn't seem to be any delay through the HDMI adapter. As some other reviewers mentioned, it does get a little warm (it seemed to stay warm even when nothing was plugged into it), but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Especially when my computer has a good fan and my work area is cool. I'll revise my review if I discover it is a problem or if I have other trouble with this adapter, but I don't expect to.

This is a nice little USB C Hub, that comes with most ports you’ll need on a day to day basis. It is really well made and offers flexibility to use with multiple devices. Also, because it doesn’t fit snug along side your device, you don’t have to worry about knocking it and snapping the connectors off in your laptop. The device also allows you to charge your and the USB C can be inserted in any direction and still offers full functionality (no need to mess about switching the cable because you inserted it upside down!) The cable itself is also robust at the USB C end, which means there’s enough flex and reinforcement that it doesn’t put much pressure on, and hopefully means it will last a long time.

I really like this hub. It’s a good value product and it’s still a premium quality product. It comes with 1 x USB type C (to pass power through the device to charge your laptop still) 1x HDMI port 3 x USB 3.0 port 1x SD card slot 1x TF card The device is quite a thick device. Overall super happy with this device, the only thing I would potentially like on top of this is an Ethernet port!

USB-C hub comes quickly, packed in box with user manual. It has a USB Type-C input and many ports and slots : - USB type-C female charging port - HD output port - USB 3.0 type-A port - SD card slot - TF card slot There's a LED indicator on it as well. Great when working from home and want to pull in all the data into my laptop. Also good to just use to charge up other different devices. Very small and lightweight, easy to portable when on business trips and holidays.

This hub is terrific, seems of decent quality, looks good and I like how the ports are arranged. Minor complaints: • It gets hot. This is probably to be expected. I have two WD USB 2TB drives, a micro SD card and sometimes my phone plugged into the hub. • My Dodocool hub does not allow enough power to pass through from the computer to power even a single USB drive when a power supply is not attached. What I mean is that with my other USB-C to USB adapter, my MacBook Pro battery will power up the drives and they'll be functional without a plugged-in power supply. The Dodocool hub will not allow me to do that. It needs to be plugged in. This makes it a small pain to move around with my laptop and peripherals — the moment I remove the power supply, I get the error message that the drives were disconnected. So I have to eject all drives before moving to a different work area. I still like the hub and would buy another.

While connections are not 100% the first time I plug something in, the few times I have to remove and replug are worth the value this adds for me. I can now use my phone to transfer files to my cloud drive from my camera SD cards. Fantastic! My new tablet also has USB-C port so I can use this to multiply the number of USB slots from 1 to 4.
